The K family -Upper Senate Park, DC

You are promised lots of energy when the family is all boys. I love it though. Smiles and tickles create connection in images that are irreplaceable. Enjoy this sweet family’s session at the Capitol.

Oliver |DC Family Photographer at the Franciscan Monastery

This was such a fun session! Toddlers are always on the move, creating fun opportunities to capture them being themselves. We sang together, played ring-round-the-rosy and smelled all the flowers. Little “Ollie” was just adorable. (I may have pinched his cheeks a few times) Enjoy their quiet session at the Franciscan Monastery in NE DC.

Welcoming Home Anika -adoption story

I have waited for this session for years and it couldn’t have been a more perfect evening! We never know how our lives will play out, or the turns it can take. Even when we are sure of our calling, when enough time passes we can start to doubt and the waiting gets really hard….

The Miller Family | Washington, DC Family Session

Any family is a privilege to photograph but when they have opened their hearts and home to adoption, it is such an honor to capture. Adoption journeys can be long and hard but also very rewarding full of little triumphs. Jason and Carolyn, may you always feel the Lord’s leading in your life and family….

The Wood Family |Washington, DC

Never underestimate a kind deed. I was waiting at the Smithsonian gardens for a client to arrive when I saw this sweet family trying to take a family photo. I walked over and offered to take a few shots for them. Michelle then asked if I was a photographer and interested in taking their family…

A Spring Family Session | Lincoln Park, Dc

Anna and Dee have been friend for years. It’s so fun watching them grow as parents and love on little Ford. Each stage has it’s new challenges and triumphs and I count it a blessing to be the one they chose to document their little boy’s life. Happy 6 months Ford!

A Winter Family Session in the Snow

My family took our vacation in the winter last year. We went to a cabin in the woods and my sister suggested doing a few family photos for her. We joked together about how dreamy it would be if we had a snowstorm. To our amazement a few days before we left it was calling…

The Talebian Family – A Botanical Garden Family Session

When Clair emailed me about photographing her family I was thrilled! They have had a very long journey to becoming parents, but capturing the bond they have with their children is just wonderful! They “feel” the miracle of then each day and when you have waited for something so long, the gift of that desire…

The Dixon Family |A Classic Family Session in City Center, DC

I always get so excited when Calandra schedules her family photo sessions. She has amazing style and the sweetest family, with twin boys! We walked through City Center, the boys snuggled with Daddy, and Caity got to dance with Mamma (in velvet pink shoes!). Enjoy their classic downtown DC family session.

The Grove Family| A Blush and Navy Family Session at the Smithsonian Gardens

What a sweet family! I have to admit, when a client drives several hours for their session I feel extra pressure to give them amazing photos. This family was so relaxed which made my job easy. You would never guess there were hundreds of people around us at the Smithsonian. Their family bond is incredible…
