Hi friend! My name is Jessica, I am a newborn and family photographer based in Washington Dc. I find it an absolute honor to photograph you with your little ones. I adore baby toes and that unforgettable newborn smell.
This session isn’t what you typically see here but I really enjoy keeping my photography skills fresh and challenged. I met Jeanne years ago at Union Market and she reached out to me about taking her headshot session. She wanted a classic, DC setting so she chose the Willard as her first location. We couldn’t […]
This family is so dear to me. I have known them for over 5 years now. They care so much about their community and are always willing to get involved and support whenever they can. Family is everything to them. They are down-to-earth, you can call them anytime during an emergency and also haul from […]
I met the Buch family on the most perfect fall afternoon at the Franciscan Monastery in DC. Kristin dressed the girls in darling floral dresses. They had fun running through the arches and twirling, like all little girls do. We ended the session out in the lawn snuggled up on a cozy blanket they brought […]
One of my favorite things in the world is to meet up with other creatives and talk business and life. I made a trip to Lancaster, Pa a few weeks ago and met up with Diane who owns Di Images. We curled up in a corner at Cafe1eight and talked for hours over avocado toast and […]
I’ve recently have done several headshot sessions and loved them! Directing one adult versus a family full of wiggly toddler feels like a walk in the park. I specifically enjoy photographing headshots for creatives. This allows me to mix profession with personality and we always have such a fun time together. Being able to gather […]
It’s always a treat photographing the Payne family. They are so fun and interactive with their children and that allows me to capture so many “moments” that I love. We had to stop for several gold fish breaks but we snuck a lot of portraits in between. Enjoy their fall family photos.
I adore when Grandparents can attend a newborn session. We specifically scheduled Lily’s session when her Grandparents were in Dc. They flew in from Iowa so we had only a week but managed to fit it in. A lovely location, beautiful weather, and three-generation portraits all make my heart happy.
I love sessions that I can be fully creative. One adult to guide and pose compared to my normal family sessions with numerous children to win-over felt refreshing. Well, refreshing as it could feel being a humid Dc day in the mid-90s. Tessa was amazing though and we had a ton of fun. She plays […]
