welcome to my journal

Hi friend! My name is Jessica, I am a family and portrait photographer based in Washington Dc. I am a Christian, wife, and identical twin. I love lilacs, candles, rainy days and honesty. I love finding joy in simple things.

Lisa and I had such a fun time walking around the Union Market area chatting and taking her new headshot photos. It can feel intimidating when you have headshots taken of just yourself. I think the key to comfortable headshot photos it when you feel relaxed and “at home.” This makes you feel confident and […]

Lisa-Professional Headshot Session |Washington, DC Photographer

I have done several branding/headshot sessions this year and absolutely love them! It challenges me and forces me to get creative. Tessa-Local Artist

Kristy and I took a morning to enjoy the winter and explore some back alleys in Dc. It was snowing but still warm enough to thaw the snow on the roof. We splashed through puddles, enjoyed the snow, and  warmed up with a cup of  coffee at Big Bear Cafe. Enjoy!
