Alexandria VA Newborn Session

This Alexandria VA Newborn Session felt so warm and cozy. One of my favorite aspects of in-home newborn sessions is how comfortable everyone feels. When you are surrounded by home, it allows you to relax and truly be yourself. I see it in the parents and even in the newborns that I photograph. They love a familiar, calm and peaceful environment.

These photos were taking in baby girl’s nursery. It was small with only one window. This shows you that you don’t need the perfectly designed home, just enough natural light. I enjoy mixing posed images alongside life-style images in a gallery. She was so beautiful with her dark hair and lashes. The simplicity of this newborn session truly showcases the baby’s dainty features.
