This sweet session was the last of little Eli’s baby membership. I took their maternity photos at the DAR building during the magnolia season. They were so lovely this past year and it’s by far my favorite bloom season in DC! Little Eli was born a few months later and he was amazing at his in-home newborn session. He loved being swaddled and stayed asleep almost the entire session. I enjoy when sessions are in your home, even if you think there isn’t a good spot for them; we can usually find a place. There is always an outdoor option as well.

I’m not sure how it happened but he is now a one year old. If there is anything a child teaches you, it’s time flies. His Mama wanted something simple and stress free because the toddler age can be unpredictable. Just as we were walking to the photo location it started to drizzle rain. We continued on and still captured so many wonderful photos together. I love being able to walk beside my clients and document all of the meaningful milestones in their lives. This job is truly such a joy!
