Washington DC Maternity Photographer

It’s my goal as a Washington DC photographer to capture the entire story of my clients baby. Even the season they are born in tells a little part to that. This maternity session was full of magnolia blossoms which paired beautifully with my client’s choice of wardrobe. The white dress with the detailed sleeves all fit together perfectly.

Being a photographer who lives in DC allows me to photograph in some of the most beautiful settings. We started out at Rawlins Park to capture the magnolia trees while they were in peak bloom. It was a warm, sunny evening and the light was perfect.

We then walked around the corner to the DAW building. Next to the Library of Congress, this is fast becoming my favorite DC building with all it’s lovely details in architecture. My client changed into another dress to fit the location and we finished their session as the sun set. I’m absolutely in love with this romantic and ethereal DC maternity session.
