This casual newborn photo session was everything I dream for an in-home session. The parents were so relaxed and gently guided their little boy into the photographs. Toddlers make up their mind as to what they want to do and if forced, can result in some big feelings. I enjoyed watching them interact in such a kind way, giving their toddler breaks when needed. Cheerios make for a wonderful mid-session snack.

Their home had wonderful arched windows in the living room and beautiful character throughout the entire space. I like to walk through a home looking for the best natural light and unique features just like this casual newborn photo session. I always encourage anytime a family pet can be in the photos. They add a calm and fun distraction for kiddos.
