Family Photos at the Lincoln Memorial

It felt like such an honor to photograph this family one more time before they move out of the city. I took their daughter’s newborn photos several years ago and have been seeing them once or twice a year ever since. They mentioned their move to me and wanted to capture some classic DC family photos at the Lincoln Memorial. We couldn’t have planned for a more perfect morning. The sunrise was just lovely over the reflecting pool.

Family photos at the Lincoln Memorial always offer so many wonderful options. You have the reflecting pool with the water. The ducks always offer the best distraction for kiddos and make wonderful lifestyle images for families to always remember. The Lincoln Memorial is stunning with the high pillars and white walls. You also have the option of classic greenery on the side of the pool with trees and beautiful park benches. This location is for sure one of my favorite spots in all of DC.
