Hi friend! My name is Jessica, I am a family and portrait photographer based in Washington Dc. I am a Christian, wife, and identical twin. I love lilacs, candles, rainy days and honesty. I love finding joy in simple things.
A Joyful Cherry Blossom Session at the Tidal Basin was the perfect way to welcome spring. I loved the color choices of the family’s outfits. The mother wore a lovely floral dress with flounce sleeves, the perfect touch to the lightness of spring. The father chose a soft pink pullover to match the pink blossoms. The children were in a tan shirt and grey chiffon dress. To top off all this cuteness, they brought Moses with them, their French Bulldog who was an absolute gem.
Choosing the Tidal Basin as a photo location in the height of cheery blossom is a feat of its own. They were running late and the wind had picked up since we were so close the water. The parents walked over to me with smiles and were as calm as could be. I love when parents lead with joy and the children will naturally follow. A joyful cheery blossom session is the perfect way to celebrate spring in DC.
Jessica is a natural light photographer based in Washington DC but travels to the surrounding areas like Northern Virginia and Maryland. She specializes in newborn photography but loves growing with her families as a Washington, DC Family Photographer.
