This Family Session at Manassas Battlefield felt like something out of a dream. It warmed me all the way through. From the gorgeous outfits to the wonderful bond this family had together. They were so relaxed and loving, making my job easy to photograph their connections.

I love when clients choose the Manassas Battlefield for their family session location. It has open fields, winding fences and tall grass. This location is beautiful in the morning or afternoon. For this session, I brought along my crocheted blanket for the baby to lay on. This mother wished she had gotten fresh newborn photos so I took some extra time for just baby portraits. We had a lovely morning together.

Jessica lives on a small farm in Catlett Virginia with her husband and two small boys. She has been a photographer for over 15 years saving the DC and Virginia area. Her own family photos are some of her greatest treasures.
