This Old Town Alexandria Family Session felt so special in many ways. My sweet clients used to live here and took many walks along the waterfront. They hold such wonderful memories here and wanted to document this location during their visit back to Alexandria.

They chose a bench near the waterfront as a memorial to the little boy they lost. It’s such a calm and peaceful spot and the perfect to way remember a precious life. We watched the sun come up over the water and then walked the cobblestone street to the Carlyle House for a few more portraits. I loved the combination of the white and blue tones of the house with the clothes my client chose.
