Being a Washington DC Newborn photographer for many years now, I love an in-home newborn session! There is no place like your own home making these sessions feel comfortable and cozy. Each one is unique to the individual family.

With an in-home newborn session, you don’t need to pack up a new baby and worry about forgetting anything. You have extra time to get yourself dressed and let’s be honest, it’s the first time most of my clients get fully dressed since their baby was born. You have anything you might need at your fingertips. If your baby needs a change of clothes or another diaper, you can rest that you are home.

A drive to a studio can feel overwhelming with a newborn especially if Mama has had a c-section. I’ve had two c-sections and it was such a relief not need to pack my family up in the car or worry about a rough ride after surgery.
