Being a Washington DC Newborn Photographer is such a joy. I adore watching families welcome a new baby into their home. First time parents always feel extra special too. Little Sloane is so very loved. She was such a calm snuggly baby. She loved being wrapped and had the perfect little button face.

Being a mother myself had given me a whole new perspective on being a Washington DC Newborn Photographer. I want to capture every tiny detail for my clients. Babies grow so quickly especially the first two to four weeks. I treasure my own newborn photos of our son. The little lashes, toes and tiny mouth…all of these features I adore capturing during each newborn session. I start with more posed images on a white background and then transition into lifestyle portraiture of the parents and baby. We always get several if there is a sibling as well.
