This Capitol Hill Newborn Session was so sweet filled with an excited big sister and the most beautiful baby girl. It was a rainy morning but it felt so good to capture all the snuggles and cozy feelings in their home. Big sister loved her baby but also loved to jump on the best and talk to her daddy. I enjoy when parents are so casual and let toddlers be themselves. It’s so helpful when the toddlers are allowed to play but also parents nudge them gently when needed.

The master bedroom was so beautiful! The olive green headboard and the bouquets of flowers were such an elegant and personal touch. This is one reason I love entering my client’s homes. Each session is so unique and can never be replicated. This Capitol Hill Newborn Session had it all….sweet newborn, lovely mother in a beautiful dress and an energetic toddler who adored her daddy.

I love capturing newborn photographs in a natural and organic way. This mama chose such a pretty outfit from Zara. It was lovely on its own and such beautiful details to photograph which always balances out a gallery in a wonderful way. Cuddles on the bed, jumping toddlers, baby toes are all the things that make me so happy during a newborn session.
