This Washington DC newborn session was absolutely wonderful. My client’s home had large windows that allowed for amazing light in their second story bedroom. This session was a wonderful mix of posed newborn portraits of the baby that captured her face really well alongside a few detail images with a macro view. I love when I can mix posed -a simple white background with the baby swaddled – and also lifestyle images with the family. These usually consist of multiple family photos of everyone interacting together and then a few of individual family members each with the baby. I love when toddlers have the freedom to interact with their new siblings. They always do something incredibly sweet or unexpected.
