This Holiday Themed Family Session felt so fun and festive for a Washington DC Newborn Photographer in December. Little Piper had a NICU stay and we didn’t think we would have the chance to get the session in once she came home and before I went on maternity leave. But I was feeling good and baby was overdue so I reached out to Jess to see if she wanted to try the next day. She somehow pulled off putting their outfits together AND making cookies with a tiny baby no less.

It was all we had hoped the cozy session could be. We snuggled the new baby, sat by the twinkling lights under the tree and cut out Christmas cookies. Nora was so excited about decorating the cookies and putting the sprinkles on top. It brought back so many sweet memories of my childhood making cookies with my family. I hope this holiday themed family session brings you as much joy as it brought me!
