This DC Fall Family Session was full of morning light and happiness. A toddler at this stage is always busy and will make any photographer work to capture their portraits but that is where the fun lies. I love the challenge of taking a few formal portraits but also the joy of movement and expression. She was so busy and we had fun running, catching leaves and playing with her parents.

My clients dressed perfectly for a cozy, fall vibe. They chose the DAR building which is a favorite of mine because it offers stunning architecture very classic to DC but also warmer tones with the greenery and trees. We met in the morning when little kiddos tend to be the happiest and the light is so pretty. This DC fall family session was one of my last sessions before the weather got a bit more cooler.
