My mother and sisters hosted the most beautiful baby shower for me in October. We met at my parent’s home and all sat together in the front yard. It was mostly family and a few friends form Pennsylvania. My twin sister Jolene knew exactly what matters most to me: a relaxed environment, pretty surroundings, good food and time spent with friends.

She chose an ice cream theme which was perfect considering our little boy’s Daddy owns his own ice cream shop. My friend Rhonda is an incredibly talented florist and brought a bouquet bursting with all my favorite colors and earth tones.

My younger brother and his wife drove all the way from North Carolina-such an incredible gift! I left with a heart overflowing with gratitude. We only have 3 more weeks now until my due date and I still have moments I can hardly believe we are having a bio-baby. Then I look down at my belly and feel his kicks…Baby Boy Burdge is coming soon!
