This fall maternity session was so pretty at the Bartholdi Fountain. The light shifts in the fall and all the greenery looks lush and vibrant. I love how this location gives you greenery and architecture to create an artistic gallery for my clients. After shooting a few at the fountain we crossed the street and captured a few of the Capitol behind them for a few iconic DC images.

I loved that these parents chose to bring their family dog along as well. She did so well during the session and just added another level of meaning to their photos. I adore dogs so whenever a clients asks to bring them, I get so excited.

My clients chose to book me for a fall maternity session and also their newborn session in January. I enjoy getting to know my clients before a newborn session. It makes our time together with a brand new baby so relaxed. I can’t wait to meet their baby soon!
