Hello Everyone! What to Wear for Fall Photos can feel daunting when you are planning your fall family session. I hope these ideas help.

I know this week in DC has not felt like fall but autumn is on the way. The best PSL in all of the city is at the Wydown and I can’t wait to try it for the first time. I’m so excited to see you all soon and I wanted to share a few tips on what to wear and what colors I have been loving.

Color Schemes:

• Cream and Tan –
• Brown and Rust –
• Grey and Green –
• Olive and Burgundy –
   

Whenever possible I love mixing solids with small prints. Always start with Mother’s outfit first and go from there. I love putting Dad’s in a soft chambray with khaki pants or a light grey shirt. If you have a little boy, a knit cable sweater with tan pants or jeans is great. Little girls look lovely in a small printed dress with leather sandals, Mary Janes or bare feet. 

Mix and Match:

• I love knitted cozy sweaters
• Mix a printed fabric with a solid
• I love when Mother’s wear long dresses to add femininity
• Make sure Dad’s are confident in what they are wearing and know ahead of time
