Hello friends,
I’ve been wanting to give you all a pregnancy update and let you know how things are going. My second trimester has felt like such a gift. If I am being transparent, my first trimester felt really hard. I had debilitating nausea and nerve pain in my right leg. To add to it, I fell pretty badly and sprained my left ankle. I felt incredibly vulnerable and fragile for a few weeks.

I’m happy to report the second trimester has gone more smoothly. I began seeing Dr. Katie at Back to Health Center in Alexandria for chiropractic treatment and it helped immensely. She specializes in prenatal and postpartum care for mothers and also infant care. My ankle has gotten stronger and I started taking my morning walks again. I missed the fresh air and mental boost a 3 mile walk gives me.

Daniel came with me to our anatomy scan and it was so fun finding out we are having a little boy. Each day he gets bigger and the flutters have turned into kicks. One night he woke me with hiccups and I didn’t mind at all. I still glance down at my growing bump and feel so grateful I weep. We thank God daily for our incredible gift.

My friend Barbora took me to the DAR for a few maternity photos and I will treasure these forever. Incredibly grateful for her talent.

I will be taking new photo sessions until October and then I go on maternity leave in November. I do plan to take off November and December, but feel free to reach out if you are due in January or February. I have already started to book newborn sessions for the New Year. Book Here
