This summer session at Bishop’s Garden was absolutely wonderful. We met in the late afternoon and were able to capture the light as it starts to warm into evening. The day was much cooler that the previous week and you could feel just a touch of fall in the air.

As my maternity leave gets closer I’m enjoying all the summer sessions with my clients. This summer session at Bishop’s garden felt special because it was their little man’s first birthday. He was so sweet and bright-eyed. He couldn’t sit up by himself just yet so we took lots of portraits in his parent’s arms and also alone in my Moses basket. We walked through the gardens and then went over to the Cathedral building for a few portrait with the lovely architecture. It is such a privilege to be able to photograph at so many lovey locations all throughout the DMV.
