This DC Maternity Photo Session was dreamy with the morning light. We met at the Jefferson Memorial for timeless and classic images. The sun was just coming up as we walked by the water for some beautiful reflections.

This mother chose a lovely baby blue dress for her session. It coordinated so well with the two locations she chose for her session. The Jefferson Memorial is stunning with its tall pillars and white marble steps. We then drove over to the DAR for their second location. We were all glad we chose sunrise because the day turned very hot and humid in DC. I love every DC maternity photo session I have the privilege of taking.

I highly recommend booking a maternity session with your newborn session. This allows us to know each other well before you baby arrives. A newborn session is during time of little sleep and big family adjustments, sometimes feeling fragile. It’s so nice to know each other and have that trust built before your baby arrives.
