Washington DC Adoption Photographer

I dream of photographing more adoptions this coming year. I don’t know of many Washington DC Adoption Photographers and would love to offer this to families in the area we have come to know and love as home.

Sweet baby Maya came to her family over the holidays. It was a whirlwind getting a family ready and they also had a long drive to bring her home. There are so many logistics to an adoption and most times you don’t have much time to plan.

My clients reached out to me asking if I could photograph a last minute newborn session and I was delighted to say yes. Their home was so peaceful and the family was so excited to finally hold her and enjoy time together as a family. There were a few happy tears during the session. It was so special and gave my heart incredible hope watching them adjust together so beautifully.
