I had the privilege of hosting a photographer’s meet-up with two of my friends last Sunday evening. While there are many events for wedding photographers in our area there isn’t many options for us family and newborn photographers. I’m not sure where I read this quote but it said something like; “if you see a need, fill it.” We talked a little about that in our IG live together: Here.

So we planned a fall evening together with other DC family photographers we had never met. It was such fun! Daniel built us a fire in the back yard. It added a cozy feel but truly it was for the mosquitos. We drank cider, ate too much food and talked till the sun went down. We literally talked all the way to their cars. My heart felt full and refreshed. (Fun fact: there are 3 Jessica’s in this little group.)
