This year, more than ever, I want to support small shops. Over the years I have found several that I purchase from time and time again. I hope you can find something you like, check off a gift on your list and at the same time; support small businesses.

White Hill Pottery -You know I adore my friend Alison’s pottery! We use it all over the house: several for potted plants, platters, and my favorite is the spoon rest by the stove.

Jardle -I use these candles all year long and have one in almost every room. There is just something so welcoming about entering a room with a candle flickering. It helps “warm” up those long winter nights.

Three Littles -My absolute favorite shop to buy gifts for newborn clients. Elizabeth is an incredible shop owner and human. I tuck in one of her bibs in almost every newborn package.

Charix -These are my go-to shoes for every photography session. You slip them on like gloves and they keep my feet comfortable all day. They are local to DC too! The camel are my favorite.

Quavaro -Daniel bought me my leather bag several years ago and I use it for everything. It sits comfortable on my shoulder and the leather keeps getting softer with time. A local shop in Eastern Market area and the kindest people on the planet. The Washingtonian tote is my favorite.
