This session felt like a dream…the kindest parents, cute toddler, darling newborn and super sweet pup. Oh, and the light. Every fall I am reminded why I love photographing so much during this season. It has a warm glow I don’t see any other time of year.

We started out under the branches of a tree where Candace used to read book to Axel when he was a baby. Then we moved to the side garden at the Supreme Court. I enjoy lifestyle newborn sessions in my clients’ home, but there is something so peaceful about newborn sessions outside. The warm sunshine and soft wind has a relaxing effect on everyone.
