I met Amanda on Instagram several months ago and we have waited a long time for their session! It could not have been a more beautiful day! They drove 1.5 hours to DC-always an honor for a client to drive so far-and we had a lovely morning together. Since they weren’t familiar with DC Amanda let me choose the location for their family session. If you’ve been reading the blog for any amount of time you know my favorite spot to shoot at is the Library of Congress. All three children did so well; Josiah had a wealth of jokes for me, Alanna smiles sweetly and miss Eden picked the very step she wanted photos on. I love letting-even the smallest-children lead in small ways. It makes them feel important and always adds to the fun and unpredictability of working with kiddos.
