I’m sure many of you already know this but I just found out! Did you know you can change your Instagram highlight photo without having to upload it to your stories? I know, I didn’t either! Here is a step-by-step tutorial on how to change your highlights without overwhelming your followers.

1. Tap Highlight
2. Click “More” in the bottom right corner
3. Click “Edit Highlight”
4. Click “Edit Cover”
5. Click on the photos folder on the bottom left corner
6. Choose your photo
7. Tap “Done” on the top right corner
8. That’s it!

I used my stories feature to make color swatches from my branding and then saved to my photos to access later when I chose the highlight I wanted. It’s so easy and fast but also curates your Instagram handle. This is a simple-and free-way to bring out your branding in a visual way and look more professional.
