I have the most wonderful clients and I’ve thought for years that some of them should meet in person because I know they would become friends. I also dreamt for years of being able to invite them over to our home. Well, last Saturday it finally happened. Our home was filled with lots of parents and children and it was simply wonderful! We baked cookies together, read Christmas books, colored and had a lovely time. There was lots of licking fingers.

As a business owner, I was told many times to keep my relationships with my clients strictly professional. But as I grew and watched my business grow, I knew that just wasn’t “me.” I care deeply for my clients and most of the mothers become my friends. I could truly call any of them in an emergency and that’s just how I like it. Who knew a small business could build community and friends?! Enjoy a peak into our cookie day.
