Hi friend! My name is Jessica, I am a family and portrait photographer based in Washington Dc. I am a Christian, wife, and identical twin. I love lilacs, candles, rainy days and honesty. I love finding joy in simple things.
I recently went to the local library and picked up a few books to read during the fall evenings. Since it gets dark so much faster I can struggle with feeling tired early and all I want to do is curl up on the couch-preferably with a blanket, slippers and candle burning nearby-with a book. These are all easy reads and I love how other cultures find ways to be cozy, add memories during the winters months and build a comforting and secure childhood for their children. Here are just a few of my favorites:
COZY -The Art of Arranging Yourself in the world
Cozy Minimalist Home -one of my favorites!
The Magnolia Journal -technically a magazine but I really enjoy it. Only $20 when you subscribe for 4 magazines that come throughout the year.
I hope you can grab a few of these to put on your coffee table. They make for great decoration and a fun read during a cold winter evening. I just check them out at the library or buy one and regift it after I read through them. If you have one you have been loving recently, leave the title in the comments below. I hope you are enjoying this fall season!
