I was traveling near Hannah’s home and asked to spend the night. Have you ever walked into a house and felt immediently “home?” The children were waiting for me on the porch, as I walked through the door, Hannah pulled me in for a hug and I smelled homemade lasagna in the oven. It felt like we could pick up right where we left off ten years ago, except better. We both matured and have gone through some things in life that has given us more grace, and hopefully a little more wisdom. That’s the beauty about getting older! We ate dinner and were sipping Kombucha when I looked outside and saw the perfect golden light. I asked Hannah if she wanted some family photos and within 10 minutes they were all dressed and ready to go! Sometimes spontaneous sessions are the best. Enjoy their laid-back, country family session.
