We chose one of the hottest days in DC to photograph the Ancillai family. We had plans to photograph at the Botanical Gardens but they were having an event and it was so HOT out. We opted to meet at the Portrait Gallery’s atrium. With a glass ceiling, white walls and gorgeous fauna; it’s a photographer’s dream.

They had the full family together for the 4th of July so it was extra special. I used to babysit little Rachel so I knew the family well.
