Summer mornings are just my favorite time to photograph! The light is dreamy, it’s still cool in the city, and babies are always most cheerful early in the day. I was referred to Hallie through a past client/friend. I look forward to referral sessions because I know they will be a delight to work with. We had so much fun walking along the water celebrating their little man turning one!

I try to let my clients know that things happen, but we will work with it and still have a great time. Half of my sessions, toddlers will show up with a knot on their forehead from a fall the day before or a random rash will show up that morning. It’s ok! I know how to post around most things and honestly, sometimes they make for good memories. Hallie’s sandal  broke during their session. Luckily I had a spare pair of flip flops in the car that we could grab. She said during their past engagement session she forgot her shoes entirely so there might be more shoe experiences in their future. 🙂 Enjoy their summer session at Yard’s Park.
