This family is incredible. They love the Lord, have two sweet sons through adoption, and are so invested in their community. Gretchen was one of the first woman who reached out to me when I first moved to DC. The gift of friendship is so wonderful….especially when you are in a new city and feel a bit alone.

For their session we started out at the Botanical Gardens and then walked around the Capitol and ended up at the Library of Congress. They have lived in DC for several yeas and it was so fun to photograph them here, where they invest so much time into people here and the place they call home.
