It’s hard to fully describe this weekend. I met up with two of my good friends and had a girl’s night. Heidi lives in Pittsburgh and Rachel lives in Virginia so it’s rare when we three can be in the same place at the same time.

We rented a darling carriage house and caught up face to face. We ate pizza, spend way too long in our pjs, made breakfast together and talked (snacked) late into the night. The next day we walked all around Frederick. We froze with all the wind but it was wonderful just the same.
These ladies challenge me, lift me up when I’m down and all in all, make me better woman. They are godly examples of what it means to be a Christian woman and wife. We walked to our cars and huddled for a quick prayer before we headed home.
I’m so, SO grateful for their friendship.

Rachel brought her French press and made coffee for us. We spend most of our time on the couch chatting. We ordered in pizza Friday night because we didn’t want to leave and wanted every spare moment to talk.

Our hostess had the entire kitchen stalked: soda, trail mix, fresh fruit, English muffins (made locally) and even sparkling cider.

Heidi is due in a few months so we had to grab a few photos of her precious baby bump.
