Sarah’s outdoor maternity session at the Smithsonian Gardens in DC was so beautiful. The soft morning light, her lovely blush pink maternity dress and magnolia blossoms complimented each other perfectly. The gardens were quiet in the early morning so we had the chance to walk abound without having to dodge crowds of people.

Little Alana was so sweet and full of personality-my favorite kind of child to photograph. While the energetic children can be a challenge to stop for a minute to get a few portraits, they are the ones who give me all kids of expression and interaction. It will be so fun watching her become a big sister and their little family turn into a family of four.
