Every fall our church has a campout. It’s a wonderful time of relaxing, good food, rocking on the front porch and playing games. Daniel’s father was the speaker this year which made it extra special. It’s such a lovely time to slow down and learn to know each other better outside of Sunday morning.

The worst thing about the weekend was I forgot all my dresses. I wore the same dress for three days but after a fun -hot AND sweaty-game of ultimate frisbee one of my friends suggested soaking everything in hot soapy water. :0 After 4 rinses and overnight drying, it felt as good as new.

I’m so incredibly grateful for our church family! Sometimes the long drives out to VA get old but as we were driving out Friday night I turned to Daniel and said, “I’m so happy here.”
