I wanted to share a few of my favorite night routine items. Maybe it’s because I feel more connected with people or maybe I’m just nosy; but I love getting a peak into another person’s life and daily routines.
1. Lavender oil
A few years ago I couldn’t stand the smell of lavender-I think it was just too strong. But after using just a few drops each night, I love it! I put several drops into the palm of my hand then message it across my neck. The smell is so soothing.
This is a trick I learnt from Jenna Kutcher. I use the “baby rub” because it tends to be more gentle for your face. When I feel or see my face starting to break out, I wash it with warm water then apply Vicks to that area. It has cleared up several break-outs just over night. It works as a great moisturizer too. Because of the strong smell, I only use it at night.
3. A good lotion
Further is a favorite for sure! You can find it here on Amazon. It’s soft, gentle for your skin, and smells amazing!
4. Neck wrap This neck wrap was gifted to me several years ago and still works great. (my sister makes them if you are interested in one) I have perpetually cold feet. All.The.Time. 🙂
I put the wrap in the microwave for 3 minutes, then lay it around my neck for a minute or two (the heat makes the lavender smell even better). Then I lay it across my feet before I fall asleep. This has helped me sleep so much better! It’s amazing when you get into a routine how your body adapts and projects what is going to happen next.
