I used to think Valentine’s Day was all about roses, chocolates, and going somewhere fancy to eat. While I enjoy doing all those things; I’m finding myself cherishing the “every-day-moments”  more.

1.The mornings I come downstairs and Danny has my tea already made.

2.Sitting at a coffee shop together. (We might both be working or sending emails, but we are together)

3.When we cross the street and he reaches for my hand.

I want to show love on Valentine’s Day and every other day in between:

1. when I think I’m right but happen to be wrong

2. when my day isn’t going smoothly

(I turn into another person when my schedule gets thrown off-and she isn’t pretty)

3. when I get hurt

(to forgive and not let my feelings fester)

I want to become a woman deserving of other’s love and friendship.
