This year my Mother wanted a photo of her and Dad with all the grandchilden. My sister decided to decorate the old sleigh. It has sat in the barn ever since I can remember. (I used to play on it when it still had green velvet seats) Before we knew it everyone was jumping on for photos!

Over the river and through the wood
To have a first-rate play.
Hear the bells ring,
Ting-a-ling-ling!
Hurrah forThanksgiving Day!

Oh, how the wind does blow!
It stings the toes
And bites the nose,
As over the ground we go.

And straight through the barnyard gate.
We seem to go
Extremely slow —
It is so hard to wait!

Over the river and through the wood —
Now Grandmother’s cap I spy!
Hurrah for the fun!
Is the pudding done?
Hurray for the pumpkin pie!
