I adore being a DC family photographer and I realize how much I love it every fall. Each time the season shifts into cooler days I know that “busy season” is soon here. Seeing my clients every years is such a blessings. I’ve known this sweet family since their first son was born and now he is growing so big and has become a little man. Each year their Golden doodle (Basil) joins us too.

We met at the Constitution Gardens right off of Constitution Avenue by the mall. It was an overcast day which gave me lovely cloud cover to show the Washington Monument. We started with portraits under the willow tree and then moved next to the water so the children could watch the ducks.

It’ such a privilege to be a DC family photographer. The DMV offers so many wonderful locations to choose from for family photos.

I enjoy photographing families in the Washington DC area. Finding beautiful light and capturing a family’s connections makes me so happy.
