If there’s one thing my infertility has taught me…women need each other.

We desperately need cheerleaders in our corner.

But what happens when a women you know and love gets the very thing you desire? 

Our attitudes are like muscles. The more you train the stronger you become. And sometimes you will be surprised at how much you’ve matured.

My twin sister has walked with me on our adoption journey all these years. We’ve longed, cried and waited together.

When she told me she was expecting I did cry, but only because I knew my story stole just a little bit of her joy. Joy and sorrow collide in life but if we have women cheering us on, it creates a bond that reaches through life. We were meant to walk beside each other. Some of my greatest encouragement has come through women who value and have families of their own.

So I continue to wait. I continue to celebrate baby announcements. And I pray with hope.
