Hi friend! My name is Jessica, I am a family and portrait photographer based in Washington Dc. I am a Christian, wife, and identical twin. I love lilacs, candles, rainy days and honesty. I love finding joy in simple things.
Seven Oaks Lavender Farm is nestled off a back road in Virginia.
June and July is the peak season of lavender. My friend Vonnie took me there for an afternoon.They had three kinds of lavender.
French.
English.
and Culinary.They placed beautiful white iron chairs in the lavender for photos-which we took advantage of. 🙂English lavender is dark purple.There is lots of room for parking along the lane.
Their Saturdays are very busy with people picking and bring their own picnic lunches.Baskets to pick in.The large veranda porch is open to sip ice tea on the rocking chairs.They sell potted lavender as well.some sort of critter was here…Sofia -from Argentina- was very helpful in explaining how to pick and with information about the different kinds.
