NEWBORN & FAMILY SESSIONS
Jessica has been taking our family photographs for almost three years and we’ve been thrilled with the results. She has a unique ability to put children and adults at ease and capture their natural chemistry. When our daughter was four days old, she came to our house and took both still photos and video that she worked into a breath-taking short movie. Some professional photographs feel stilted and staged. Not these. It’s an added bonus that Jessica delivers the pictures promptly and in easy-to-download files. We’re delighted she’s been able to chronicle our family as it grows!

NEWBORN SESSION
We had the most wonderful experience with Jessica. She was kind, thoughtful, a dream with Penelope, and had such great ideas for setting up the photos. She was really attentive to our desires for the shoot, and she spent lots of time answering questions both beforehand and during the session. She had the photos beautifully edited and ready to go so quickly too! I love that we have the digital files so we can keep them and choose what to do with them in the future. Jessica was such a delight to work with and we certainly hope to work with her again!

FAMILY SESSION
Jessica is simply wonderful! I contacted Jessica to do a spring photo shoot for my extended family. She was more than accommodating to work around travel schedules for the out of towners, weather and various location changes due to road closures. We met at the National Arboretum on a Saturday morning, it was a little chilly with pending rain and not all of the trees had bloomed yet. Jessica scoped out a wonderful spot for us. Looking at the pictures you’d think it was the perfect spring day with fresh blooms all around! She was so patient with all 8 of us and more than accommodating to get all of the different groups and pairs that we wanted. We never felt rushed. She captured beautiful pictures of my family and the best faces of a silly little toddler! Jessica turned the photos around in a matter of days. We were so happy with her work and look forward to having her document our family again!

MATERNITY & NEWBORN SESSIONS
Jessica was such a pleasure to work with for our maternity and newborn photos. Scheduling with her was very easy & flexible. She was willing to come to us or suggest locations nearby to make the photo sessions convenient. And she was like a baby whisperer with our newborn, getting him to settle and cooperate for the whole shoot. Jessica’s photos are gorgeous! We love sharing them with family and friends, and we will be calling Jessica again for our next family photos.

FAMILY SESSION
If you are looking for a wonderful family photographer I highly recommend Jessica Burdge Photography. Jess was very flexible with scheduling and made sure we avoided rain and waited for a clear and dry evening with great light. She is wonderful with small children; she was very patient with my one year-old son and had tricks to get him to look and smile at the camera. She is reasonably priced and had my photos ready and easy to use online gallery quickly after the shoot. I am very pleased with my photos and can’t wait for another special event so we can hire her again.
