Myers Family Christmas -2016

I feel a bit guilty writing this post because I know how incredibly blessed I am. Christmas Day was filled with family, Mother’s cooking, Dad’s stories, lots of (loud) conversation and way too much homemade candy.

Growing up we weren’t allowed to open our eyes during prayer; but as Dad blessed the meal I looked around the table at every bowed head and felt overwhelmed with gratitude. Daniel squeezed my hand while I fought back tears for this…this, is my Peace on Earth.
