The perfect “after-Thanksgiving-snack”.

While growing up, playing games on Holiday afternoons was a big hit. We would gather around Mom’s kitchen table and play late into the afternoon. Although we all were stuffed with turkey, we still enjoyed snacks. But it couldn’t be too sweet, or salted, or heavy…:)

Here’s one of my favorite recipes:


1/2  stick butter

1/3 cup maple syrup

1/3 Worcestershire sauce  in sauce pan.


1 box honey Cheerios

1 box honey Chex

1 bag small pretzels

1 bag cheddar fish

1 can of peanuts.

Spread on 2 cookie sheets.

Back at 275′ for 1 hour. (stir every 15 minutes)

Cool and Enjoy!
